Plane delayed causing me to miss another connecting flight which entailed a very expensive flight change and hotel at Heathrow, leaving me short of allocated spending money. I was left in Hong Kong airport all alone from 1am for several hours, very nerve racking experience for an elderly woman on her own with heart problems. On the second leg from Hong Kong to Heathrow I was placed in a middle seat with three other people despite the fact that I had booked a window seat. Very uncomfortable flight and not much room. I would certainly not fly with them again, neither would I recommend them to my many friends. After logging a complaint about the terrible lack of service and communication I was offered a measly $100 in coupons to be used with them. The late flight caused me to miss by connecting flight forcing me to pay for a hotel at £189 for the night as well as having to pay over 277 euros for a new flight. Please do not waste your precious time or money with this company. I will never be flying with Cathay Pacific again. FYI, posted wit my sons Trustpilot account hence the name..
