I didn't expect much when I bought this. As other reviews said, there's not much "bicol express" flavor on it BUT!! THIS IS SO ADDICTING!!!! I just opened it today and I ate half of it already. I guess the bicol express flavor is kinda hard to achieve using smoke tinapa but the flavors are there. This is so good. I definitely will be ordering it again.

Great quality! Some still have the black seeds stuck in them, so it’s necessary to look through them a little for stir fry. Not many stems.

I also used this to make lumpia.. it gives a good flavor too. I fried it before wrapping it.. so it tastes better with menudo powder.

A staple in our pantry. mostly used for beef or chicken with potatoes, peas and red bell pepper. A flavoring that tastes authentic and makes cooking this dish easy and reliably good.
