I think this box was worth it at the sale price. The amount of meat was perfect for my family of 4. I was hesitant to order at first since other reviews said theirs came with a lot of fat, we were lucky and we didn’t have that issue. No need to add butter or oil when grilling as the meats will release oil when it hits the heat. You can tell the difference in taste and texture between the Japanese and Australian cuts but both were very soft and flavorful. Next time I will buy the individually packaged Japanese wagyu from wee since my family enjoyed that one better and we’ll splurge again with this variety pack maybe next Christmas if it is available :). We added a light amount of salt/pepper then grilled them, all were soft and had great texture. The Japanese one was like butter! I got lucky that the chunks of steak did not have a lot of fat but the sliced plate had too much fat unfortunately.
