really good, sort of mochi like, sort of like bai tong gou. comes with a little pack of sesame seeds and a pack of coconut milk. should steam instead of microwave.
I microwaved it longer than instructed and the beef cake was delicious. I reheated it many times because I couldn't eat it all at once, and the cake was still delicious when reheated

I love this Vietnamese pancake, very much like Martabak Manis (sweet Martabak) from Indonesia. Similar dough, instead of cheese, chocolate or ground peanut, it's sweetened grated coconut and coconut custard. The coconut is to die for. If you like coconut, you should definitely try this. I used a little butter and oil on a pan to warm it up, few minutes on one side and flipped a few times. IMHO it's the best way to warm up this tropical pancake.

This cake is not as delicious as I thought, the cake is a bit dry and the butter milk is quite little so when baked or eaten cold it is the same, not much of a butter milk smell.
