Boiled in enough water with minced ginger and whole tomatoes on top (will be steamed) of the clams feels nostalgic. That simple recipe is my mother’s favorite as well as my daughter. Tomatoes crushed in a saucer with a li’l bit of fish sauce to make a dip to the clams will make this recipe savory as well.
