It's difficult to open. You need a hammer to push down the top. But once opened, wow! Taste is so heavenly & refreshing esp for this very hot weather! And Calories is only 50. Sweetness is its natural taste!

Purchased these on sale for $1.99 each and they were tasty and fun. We ended up not smacking one hard enough or the plastic was in the way of piercing the exterior all the way. When we tried to put the straw in, it was still hitting on the hard exterior. I ended up taking off all the outer plastic wrapping, put the piercing device back on top, put a piece of tape on it to replace the sticker we removed and threw out, resmacked it on the counter, and it worked! I was also able to use a butcher's knife and pestle to open the coconut to get to the meat which was still pretty fresh and delicious I would repurchase, esp for guests as it is so fun.

I made sago with coconut chunk in syrup and fresh corn. It's so easy to make. Just boil some water and add the sago when it boils and stir continuously until it is cooked and clear. I used another can of coconut milk with a little salt as a topping. It was so yummy.

I usually cut my coconut open with a meat cleaver, this is much more easy than my normal method it’s effective. However the mallet left behind some black plastic specks all around the top of the coconut . I should have taken pictures to show. But other than that I’m pretty happy.
So easy to use as the pictures show on the box! At least i’m not afraid on my hands getting cut !
