The persimmons were beautiful, but not cheap. I bought them almost a month ago. I tried various methods, mixing them with rice, apples, oranges, and other fruits, hoping to quickly remove their astringency. Unfortunately, they still haven't softened. I thought I could try the hard, crunchy ones, but after taking a bite, my entire lips felt astringent, incredibly astringent. I couldn't eat them at all. I just felt cheated.
