I bought two kinds of taro to see which one is more glutinous. This one is quite big.
One small bag of taro can make about 1 liter of taro sago pudding. Steam the chopped taro strips with two cups of water, then mix in some sugar and coconut milk. Bring to a boil, then add the sago and water to thicken. The taro has a sticky, smooth texture, unlike the powdery type of taro used in hot pot! It's delicious!
