Very disappointed, I feel like I wasted money. Mainly because the chicken is too old. This kind of boiled chicken has such a hard texture and is hard to chew, you can imagine how old the chicken is, it feels like a three-year-old chicken. Can old hens be used to make boiled chicken? It's OK. It's not like the scallion oil chicken in Hainanese chicken rice. It's more like white-cut chicken. Not enough salt. But it doesn't matter. I sprinkled some salt, poured in the scallion oil ingredients, steamed it in a steamer for ten minutes, and it tasted good when I took it out. If you still think it's not tasty enough, you can dip it in other seasonings. In summary, if you buy this chicken, you need to DIY the seasoning. Half a chicken is not big, the price is quite expensive, and I didn't taste anything special about the meat of this chicken.
