It was good after it was made. I used 1 bag (3 bags per box) and added some vegetables and fish. It was enough for three people and the taste was okay.
One box makes three servings. The flavor is good, but the ingredients are minimal, so I added tofu, lotus root slices, bean curd sheets, bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms, and carrots. (Finally giving in and joining the pre-made meal trend...)
Simple and convenient. The taste is almost the same as in the store. Great.
The pre-made pickled fish is quite interesting, with a spicy flavor that's quite good. A box contains three packets, each serving roughly one person (the soup packets are a bit small, so adding your own toppings won't be enough). In addition to the fish packets, there's also a packet of thousand-sheet tofu. I really like the texture of the fish fillet; it's better than other brands of black fish fillet.
I used two packs and added some dumplings, enoki mushrooms, black fish slices and crab sticks to fill up a casserole. There are three packs in a box, no wonder it is so expensive. But I think it is worth it.
I was almost amazed by my own cooking skills. It's actually quite simple: just five small bags, each step clearly written, and I succeeded just by following them. The flavor was spot-on, too, with a restaurant-like feel.
