    Mildly spicy Japanese inspired breakfast scramble: - 1 teaspoon Weeee! Hondashi powder - 1 teaspoon mirin - 4 eggs - 8-9 sliced shishito peppers Fry the shishito pieces until cooked. Beat the Hondashi and mirin into the eggs. Scramble them into the peppers.

    Used my air fryer to blister the peppers. Peppers were fresh and flavorful with just salt. I added soy sauce and black pepper after airfrying. Delicious!

You can eat these raw too, but here I like them like one layer in the pan, in a mix of peanut and sesame oil, little salt, until blistered all over and wilted, then serve with a squeeze of lime, option of flaked sea salt like edamame. Just pick them up with fingers and bite them off the stem. Very very good, very fresh, not a bad spot on any pepper in the bag! Will purchase again. Mild hot but sometimes a hot one sneaks in.
