As a glutinous rice cake lover, I couldn't resist buying this product. I'm personally very satisfied with the taste. The first time I fried it in an air fryer, the rice cake leaked into the fryer pan, making it difficult to clean. The second time I fried it in oil, I added black sesame seeds, and the texture was much better, with crispy exterior and soft interior. But I wasn't satisfied. The rice cake also leaked after the second reheating, making it a pain to clean the messy rice cake every time. This product should only open one side of the dough stick, not both sides, which would make it very easy for the rice cake to leak. I saw a video of a live glutinous rice cake youtiao made in China where they didn't cut the dough sticks after frying. Instead, they placed a rice cake directly on top and sprinkled the toppings. Of course, this frozen product is probably designed in its current state for various reasons, such as transportation.
