A Taiwanese friend wanted to try Shanghai mooncakes, so I bought a few of each flavor from Xinghualou to try. I think I'll just buy red bean paste and coconut paste next time. The lotus paste from Ronghua is still the best, but it's strange that lotus seeds are not only found in Jiangnan.

The size of both mooncakes is not too small, the taste is not too sweet. It has 1 lotus seed paste with 2 salted eggs, and 1 red bean paste. I don’t like the red bean paste one since it’s not to what I expected, but I like the lotus seed one more. If they have both lotus seed paste flavor, I would buy it again
