I liked this pineapple cake from Taiwan because it had a good amount of filling that wasn’t too sweet and was chewy without being too hard. Each piece was large, but although the outer shell had a nice egg flavor, I didn’t care for the amount of salt I could taste (100 mg per piece). A box contains 12 pieces and aren’t sealed. I purchased this at a discounted price, knowing that it would mean the expiration date would be not far off, so I didn’t mind that it was 8 days away.
I have bought several types of Taiwanese pineapple cakes on Weee, but I still like Xiao Pan the best.
Received on 5/24, valid until 5/28. The validity period is too short. It tastes very milky.
