Like others, I got the red/orange box (instead of the desired blue lol) but it's very beautiful still! There's an outer paper cover but the box itself is embossed and 3D and the persimmons look beautiful. Have not tried the mooncakes inside yet.
Why didn't I receive the blue gift box in the picture?
It's not a blue or red box, it's orange and very ugly. I want to return it. No appetite at all.

This is the second year I bought mooncakes from the Forbidden City.
The mooncakes are very small, only 350g in total, compared to Maxim's 740g, the price/performance ratio is too low. The advantage is the exquisite packaging, suitable for gifts, but it's a pity that I didn't buy the blue box that I like more. I guess they are all red box products, and the red box pictures should be replaced.
