Although it is called osmanthus rice cake, it actually doesn't taste like osmanthus. It is really fragrant when I add osmanthus honey! The taste is spongy.

Steamed it for 8 mins per the instruction. It’s spongey, slightly chewy and perfectly sweeten but I think it’s lacking a bit of flavour? For some reason I hoping it would taste a bit like bak tong guo. Good value for how many there are but I don’t think I would be craving for this so probably won’t be repurchasing agian.
