Not sure how to describe it. The shrimps are sweet, but the herb taste is not strong. Not what I was expecting.
The wine taste is not heavy, and the angelica, Chuanxiong, red dates and wolfberry are well balanced.Although they are frozen, the shrimps still taste very fresh; there are nine in a box, which is a substantial portion. The only downside is the MSG - the proportions are a bit heavy especially for those of us who don't eat much MSG.
As Weee friends said, the medicinal taste is strong and delicious, but the only drawback is that the intestines (mud) of the shrimps are not removed. It looks unappetizing, and I feel that the drunken shrimps without removing the mud must not be for the imperial concubine. food!
