Ajinomoto's "Seto no Honjio Roasted Salt 1kg" is a 100% domestically produced coarse salt made using only seawater from the Setouchi and Bizen Okayama regions. It is characterized by its unique direct-fire roasting method at a high temperature of 480�‹C, which gives it a mellow, gentle taste with little saltiness, and a unique smooth granular texture. This roasted salt is suitable for enhancing the flavor of various dishes and ingredients such as pickles, grilled fish, rice balls, simmered dishes, and clear soups. The raw material is only Japanese seawater, and it does not contain any additives or chemical seasonings. In terms of nutritional content, the salt equivalent per 100g is about 87.75-96.91g, and it contains the "bittern" components found in seawater such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium, which add a mellow taste to the salt.
