This five-three castella has tryed its best to increase the rate of egg yolk and reduce the rate of flour. It was the best castella made by BUNMEIDO. From the ingredients to the outside package are strictly selected and quality controled by craftsman.

The name of five-three means the ratio of egg yolk and egg white if 5:3. It was a traditional Japanese baking method created in Tokugawa-Meiji dynasty. By increasing the ratio of egg yolk, you could enjoy the strong of egg. The other ingredients are also very high quality. The flour are specially processed and made more than detailed. Add wasanbon sugar producted from Tokushima-Ken and honey from Hokkaido to emphasize the flour of egg before baking and spread rough sugar after baked.
