Truly a must buy! I recreated my favorite spicy schichuan fish with peppercorn. Here’s my tip: grind the paper corn with garlic so it mixes well with chicken broth. Balance it out with green onion. My tongue was left deliciously numb for 30 minutes after but left me wanting more.

I used this szechuan red peppercorn to make a tingly chili oil that I used for fuqifeipian. I love the numbing sensation you get from the peppercorns. You can lightly toast them in a pan, crush them, and use in any dishes that you'd like to have some fun tingly numbing sensation. A little goes a long way, and I'll be sure to replace it when I run out.
