This is the first time that I purchased Brazil Croakers. It definitely will not be the last. It arrived frozen, smelled fresh. There was three large fish in the bag, I used two for frying.. I washed with salt and vinegar, remove the few scales that was there, seasoned and fried. This fish was what I expected and more. The meat was firm, not a fish with lots of bones, just the regular bones a fish should have. It was served with red lentils rice, purple sweet potato and green Thai eggplant. I will definitely be repurchasing this fish. I highly recommend that you give it a try. I believe this fish will be very nice in curries and stews. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The quality is good, but the only drawback is that you have to remove the scales yourself.

The fish is firm and is marinated with salt and then pan-fried until fragrant.

South American yellow croaker is a little different from the yellow croaker in my hometown. The meat is thick but not delicate enough, and the fishy smell is not too strong. I made the sweet and sour cooking method today, and it is okay.
