Description

Don't be afraid of the prep and time in preparing Roast Duck at home

It's easy to make your very own - crispy, juicy, tender, flavorful, fragrant, and delicious duck at home

There's so much meat that you can have duck for 2-3 meals - sandwiches, salads, fried rice, noodle soup, and more 

For the bones do not throw them away because you can use them to make Duck Soup with Tofu!

 

Roast Duck 

Culver's Ready to Cook (Gluten Free) Whole Duck has - NO artificial ingredients, NO animal by-products, and NO added Hormones

 

Instructions 

  1. Thaw your Duck 
  2. Clean the whole duck by rinsing it from inside and out 
  3. Grab a Colander and place the duck inside 
  4. Slowly pour "boiling" water all over the duck (patiently pour like you're giving the duck a shower) 
  5. Do this for "3" times 
  6. Dry the duck (takes 5 hours or more) in a cool and ventilated area
  7. Your duck should be - dry, shrunken in size, and shiny 
  8. Mix your cooking wine, honey, and 2 tbsp of water to brush the duck (to make it crispy)
  9. Brush both the inside & outside of the duck (do this step twice) - make sure everything is coated 
  10. Let it dry 
  11. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees, throw in the duck, and drop the temperature down to 170 degrees for 40 minutes 
  12. Flip the duck over and bake it for another 20 minutes 
  13. Let it cool down before cutting into it
  14. Steam your wrappers and wrap them with duck, cucumbers, green onions, and hoisin sauce 
  15. Enjoy!
