Roast Duck
Culver's Ready to Cook (Gluten Free) Whole Duck has - NO artificial ingredients, NO animal by-products, and NO added Hormones
Instructions
- Thaw your Duck
- Clean the whole duck by rinsing it from inside and out
- Grab a Colander and place the duck inside
- Slowly pour "boiling" water all over the duck (patiently pour like you're giving the duck a shower)
- Do this for "3" times
- Dry the duck (takes 5 hours or more) in a cool and ventilated area
- Your duck should be - dry, shrunken in size, and shiny
- Mix your cooking wine, honey, and 2 tbsp of water to brush the duck (to make it crispy)
- Brush both the inside & outside of the duck (do this step twice) - make sure everything is coated
- Let it dry
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees, throw in the duck, and drop the temperature down to 170 degrees for 40 minutes
- Flip the duck over and bake it for another 20 minutes
- Let it cool down before cutting into it
- Steam your wrappers and wrap them with duck, cucumbers, green onions, and hoisin sauce
- Enjoy!
