Salted Pollock Roe (Myeongran-jeot) is a traditional Korean delicacy made from the roe (eggs) of pollock, which are marinated in a mixture of salt, (red pepper powder), garlic, and other seasonings. The roe is salted and fermented, giving it a distinct savory, spicy, and slightly briny flavor. It is often enjoyed as a side dish (banchan) with rice, used as a topping for rice bowls, or included in various Korean dishes such as rice balls (myeongran jumeokbap) or pasta.

Storage Guidelines

Due to the nature of the pollock roe product, it may thaw upon receipt.

Please place the package in the freezer immediately upon receipt.

Thaw in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before consumption.

Please consume within 7 to 10 days after opening.

Do not refreeze after thawing.
