$0.05/g

Details

Product of:VietnamUnit Qty:200 g

Description

Tết is coming! No Tết (Lunar New Year) celebration is complete without the traditional Dưa Món (pickled vegetables like shallots and garlic) served with braised pork and bánh tét, making family meals even more delicious and heartwarming.

In line with the festive spirit of Tết, we are excited to bring this dried pickled vegetable mix to serve our customers far and wide. This product contains a mix of sliced and shredded vegetables that are carefully dried, saving you the time and hassle of going to the market, cutting, and drying the ingredients yourself. Perfect for busy yet efficient homemakers!

The set includes 5 different types of dried vegetables: cucumber, carrot, radish, chili, and papaya. With this mix, you can make more than one jar of pickled vegetables at home—much more economical than buying and preparing each ingredient separately.

Expiration Date: Refer to packaging. Keep in the refrigerator for longer shelf life. Once prepared, it can be kept for a long time.

Origin: Vietnam

Preparation Instructions (on the packaging):

  1. Rinse the vegetable mix gently and let it dry.
  2. Boil some saltwater and let it cool to lukewarm. Adjust the saltiness to your liking. Soak the vegetables for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, and then drain.
  3. Prepare the sweet and salty fish sauce: Combine 2 cups of water, 500ml of quality fish sauce, 1kg of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of MSG. Boil until slightly thickened, then let it cool. *Note: Add the fish sauce (and sugar) in 2-3 batches during cooking to ensure the right balance of salty and sweet flavors.
  4. Pack the vegetables into a jar and pour the prepared fish sauce over to fully submerge the veggies. Use a weight to keep the vegetables pressed down so they stay submerged and don't float to the top, which could cause uneven absorption or spoilage.
  5. Enjoy with bánh chưng, bánh tét, or braised pork.
  • These vegetables are dried and should be kept in a dry place or in the fridge for long-term storage . The color and quality are preserved after drying, with no artificial coloring added.
