Fresh Kushi Unagi (Skwered Eel) AAA 250 g

We are happy to announce Kushi Unagi (Skererd Eel) is now be available! We are bringing in fresh batches of juicy Japanese Eel from Japan. They are usually only shipped to restaurants, but we have made it available for home delivery customers now! It is the perfect meal for the summertime (*Day of the Eel this year in Japan is July 21st and August 2nd).

Each unagi is handpicked by our buyers in Japan. High-quality unagi is usually expensive and considered a delicacy. Japanese people tend to eat almost half a fillet on a bed of rice in a Donburi (big rice bowl). Our unagi will be delivered ready-to-cook.

*Unagi sauce is not included, you have to prepare separately. 

How to Prepare? 

Preheat the oven or toaster to 375 F and place it in the oven for 10 min and flip it over for another 10 min or check on your eye until the skin is crispy and browned and the meat is tender. 

Serve the Unagi over steamed rice. Drizzle unagi sauce on the top.
