This spiced curry base, created by the "Yamaneko Bottled Laboratory" brand, produced by Shimozono Satsuo Shoten, a seafood processor in Akune City, Kagoshima Prefecture, makes the most of the umami flavor of fish.
The base is made with fragrant Makurazaki-grown bonito flakes, combined with a unique blend of sweet dried onions and multiple spices. The refreshing aroma of dill seeds enhances the flavor of the bonito stock, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. Simply add canned tomatoes and water and simmer for about 30 minutes to create an authentic spiced curry.
It can be used as a curry or as a sauce for tortilla pizza.
