Haitai Samgyetang Mung Bean Ginseng Chicken Stew 800 g

Our household usually buys the Harim brand but tried this one for the first time because it said mung beans. Pic shows what 2 packages in a large pot looks like straight from the package. Package says keep at room temp not frozen like Harim brand. Smelled great. Tastes good too. Bones fall right out. We couldn’t really see or taste any mung beans but maybe it was cooked down with the rice inside.

Trying this the first time

The addition of mung bean is nice and nutritious

Chicken comes broken so after you boil, the bone gets very soft and breaks which is quite annoying when you eat. I added enoki mushroom, green onion and chives. It serves 1.5 - 2 but you might want to add your own rice because the rice inside the chicken is quite small in portion. Tastes good though.

Not impressed. There was very little rice and beans. Very fatty and did not taste ginseng to me. The chicken was very soft though
