Great for miso cod and salmon!

Best non salty shiro miso. Western style: Use mixed with brown sugar and Dijon mustard to baste meat or fish. Mix with mirin and melty butter to gravy consistency and microwave zucchini or frozen peas and firm tofu cubes for delicious umami taste. Spread miso-mirin-butter on thick German warm bread with sliced sweet peppers and sliced Gouda for open face sandwiches.
