More than 50 years ago, Toyojiro Nakazawa, the owner of San-suji, one of the three major kappo restaurants in Sapporo, devoted his skills and techniques to ramen and opened the first Tsukimiken ramen restaurant in Minami San-chome, Susukino at that time. While the number of ramen stores with the authentic taste of old-fashioned ramen has dwindled in recent years, the original taste of Sapporo ramen, the original flavor of the first Tsukimiken, has been restored to the present.
