Salmon and Dried Sardine Furikake
A furikake (rice seasoning) made with domestically produced salmon flakes and dried sardine fry (chirimenjako).
The addition of dried sardines provides calcium, and it features a different texture and flavor from regular salmon flakes.
It can be used in a wide range of ways, not only as a side dish for rice, but also as a filling for rice balls, mixed rice, or as a topping for dishes.
