It is made by slowly simmering certified organic tomatoes from Italy as the main ingredient, onions and garlic from contracted farmers in Kochi Prefecture, as well as yellow sugar from Tanegashima and Muroto deep sea salt from Kochi Prefecture. The salt content is 60% less than regular commercially available products.
