About Lety’s Buko Pie
Leticia Ocampo Belarmino, a Los Baños native, transformed her beloved pastime into a thriving business known as Lety’s Special Buko Pie. With a single oven in 1976, she began her journey, driven by her free time, a touch of restlessness, and a desire to support her children’s education. Today, her heartwarming creations have captured the hearts of many, leading to multiple stores in Laguna and even introducing her renowned delicacy to the United States.
“Lety’s Buko pie is known as the taste of the modern buko pie. Patrons claim that its sweetness is just right while the crust adds in a salty kick to the tongue. The Buko meat used at Lety’s is chunkier giving their pie their signature firmness and texture.” -Explore PH
“Objectively, I think Lety’s Buko pie has the best balance in Buko Taste, Yumminess, Delicious Crust and Overall Presentation.” -Anton Diaz
