Very good texture but not much flavor

An Excellent dish from ShangHai Eats! Authentic tasty meatballs are tender, no filler taste, sauce is yummy with a few black wood ears, carrot slices and, just the right amount of star anise. NOT oily! I added mung bean thread for a delicious meal. What I appreciate in addition, is that it is NOT salty! Too often already-made restaurant meals are either, too oily, or too salty, or too sweet, or ALL three! THANK YOU Weee, for picking a winner! I will buy it again!

I’m so glad to order these meatballs at a sale price. They are meaty. I wish they have more bouncy texture!

Lion's Head Meatballs are huge meatballs. It tastes like steamed ground pork. The flavor needs to be richer with more sauce. Good big size. 😁
