I love mine a little more on the crispy side and also found that if I hold them down a few times with a spatula it helps thin them out as well as makes sure the dough is cooked inside. I wish there was a little more filling but so good as a snack or a side or breakfast. Was thinking of adding an egg to the top or even inside of mine like a breakfast hot pocket
