
This dashi is made with Aomori-grown kelp and grilled and dried sardines. It's a type of dashi that has been eaten in Aomori since ancient times.
Using sardines caught in Mutsu Bay, the heads and guts are removed, each one skewered, grilled over charcoal, and then dried in the sun. All grilled and dried sardines are made by hand. Nowadays, this is a delicacy that produces authentic dashi, and is only produced in limited areas. Simply add one pack to your desired amount of water and leave overnight, or boil it before use. One pack is recommended for a strong flavor, with a recommended amount being 300cc (strong) to 500cc (weak).
