Hmm . . lapu - lapu is the namesake of Datu Lapu Lapu, the one who killed F. Magellan in 1521. That's why it's popular among my kababayan. This kind of fish must stand out to be given the same name. I have the chance of eating them before but being frozen makes a difference. I ordered and the next day, it was delivered. Good thing, they survived from being frozen lol. I fried one for dinner and as expected the meat is firm and flaky. Then mix it with sweet & sour sauce, (combine vinegar, sugar, water, and cornstarch). Add pineapple, bell peppers, carrots, onions and ginger or as you please. The other three would end up most likely, steam, or grilled. For $8.49 for 4 pcs, is not bad, I guess.
