Ning Chi Chili Hot Pot Soup Base 1000 g

Frozen package with tofu and soup base. Decent base with a stronger star anise flavour, best not to add additional liquids. Tofu that came with the pack is slightly tough. Added more fish balls, mushrooms, and meat/fish to the soup.

I just received them so haven't tried but I hope its as edible as what other reviewers said about it. I bought 5 pack thinking what a great deal for $2.19 of hotpot base! Turn out its expiring in a month, it would've been nice if Weee had disclosed this information for products that are expiring in few months to not surprised us with receiving old stock.

spicy and not so tasty, more like herbs fragrant.
