This filter is so convenient, I use it every day, very affordable

Good filter! Didn't want to buy a $10-15 one. Box doesn't say if it's aluminum or stainless steel. Not sure if it said where it's made either. This is a 4-piece screw insert (as opposed to gravity press) phin. No size was given, but I'm assuming it's 4 oz because the plate diameter is about 3.25" so this is a pretty standard size for a single serving. If you have trouble finding a cup that's narrow enough to place this phin over, I found that a standard mouth mason jar works too. It's easy to brew without a scale. I use 2 tbsp ground Vietnamese coffee and hot water (although 205F is recommended). Add maybe 1/2 inch water, wait 30-40 seconds, then fill the rest of the chamber up with hot water. If your coffee takes *less* than 5-5 1/2 minutes to drip (or when your water goes right through), screw it tighter to compress the coffee grounds more.
