Sanko Sangyo's Clam Dashi Stock Base (110g bottle) is a granular Japanese-style dashi stock base made primarily from domestically produced clam extract powder. It dissolves quickly and is easy to use, easily adding richness and depth to a variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, including miso soup, hot pot, udon, soba, and simmered dishes. It also contains the ornithine equivalent of approximately 350 clams, making it a nutritionally sound product. It can also be used as a special clam dashi soy sauce by adding soy sauce and mirin. The ingredients include salt, lactose, clam extract powder, starch, ornithine, seasonings (amino acids, etc.), and some dairy ingredients.
