The name "Bạch Trà" originates from the pure white hairs on tea buds. Bạch Trà is made from Shan Tuyết tea buds, 1 bud and 2 leaves, which have been dried. Shan Tuyết Tea is a premium tea variety often grown in the Northwestern region, especially in Hà Giang, Vietnam. The remarkable feature of Shan Tuyết tea trees is that the tea buds are harvested from ancient tea trees with large, twisting trunks, white mossy color, and numerous curvy branches. This tea variety has two different leaf forms, but both have a wealth of snow-like hairs. This is why Shan Tuyết Tea is often considered more valuable than other tea varieties.
When you brew Bạch Trà, the tea liquor has a yellow color, and just by looking at it, it imparts a gentle and soothing feeling to the drinker.
The flavor of Bạch Trà is highly distinctive, with a natural aroma of early morning grass, creating a combination of sweetness intertwined with freshness. The tea has a mild bitterness, not overpowering, and by the third sip, you will experience a sweet and fragrant aftertaste.
With just one try, you will find it hard to forget the unique taste of Shan Tuyết Tea. The initial bitterness gradually turns into a rich sweetness in the aftertaste.
This is a unique tea variety, and if brewed correctly, it can be enjoyed for up to 8-9 infusions. If you enjoy steeping tea like our ancestors did, you can even enjoy it for up to 6 infusions.
The production process ensures food safety and hygiene standards, ISO 22000-2018.
