Silver Needles is the most prized and delicate of all white teas. Cultivated in Taimushan Town, Fuding City, and hand-picked from the Fuding Dabai variety during the first spring harvest, Silver Needle is characterized by its bright apricot-like color, brisk floral aroma, smooth, mellow, nectar-like flavor, and is well-suited for long-term storage, developing more complex flavors over time.
These highly sought-after white tea buds are meticulously cultivated in Taimushan Town, Fuding City, and carefully hand-picked from the Fuding Dabai variety during the first spring harvest of the year. Also known as silver needles, the Baihao Yinzhen name is derived from the tiny silver hairs that beautifully coat the young tea leaves.
The fleshy buds are notably thick and exhibit a straight, needle-shaped form, glistening with a silvery hue. The brewed buds display a delicate, bright, and uniform yellowish color, while the aroma offers a brisk and fresh scent with delightful floral nuances, characteristic of the Fuding Dabai variety.
