Spicy Bamboo Shoot

Not bad-there is a nice chili oil aroma, and the taste is pretty mild. Not very spicy for those who aren't able to handle too much spice. It is on the saltier end though, so best to eat with rice. There is a decent amount considering you can't eat it by itself and probably won't be able to finish it in one sitting. Should also go well with plain congee, even though my go-to is usually pickled mustard tuber! Overall, a decent buy when it is on sale.

The bamboo shoots were a bit old, didn't feel very fresh and not flavorful enough, I won't buy it again.

Very woody, full of fiber, and salty
