Spicy Oil Chicken Thigh Meat

Good amount of chicken, very very spicy. Thumbs up!

Delicious, lean meat, beautifully shredded, flavorful. Generous portion, too. I would give it 5 stars. So what went wrong? First, it was sold as "fresh food" but arrived frozen solid. The label says keep at 30-40 F. It also says "consume same day as received". We had been looking forward to doing that (for dinner) but we couldn't. It arrived from NYC frozen like a brick. It needed 1-2 days to thaw. As you can see this thin plastic package is for takeout food, not designed for freezing food. Two days later, there was another problem why we couldn't enjoy this. It was unbelievably salty! To the extent that we couldn't eat it. Even with a lot of rice. I got that scary feeling like when I eat the intensely salty preserved tofu cubes. The kind that make you wonder if you're asking for stomach cancer... We rinsed it under cold water to try to remove some of the salt. Still it was too salty to bear. After two complete rinses, dried it with these paper towels. Too salty. Almost pickled. We tried to rescue the drained meat by cooking it with a vegetable. Nobody should ever have to rinse out a restaurant entree.

Spicy Oil Chicken Thigh Meat is a spicy shredded chicken with spicy red chilli peppers and spicy oil. The chicken tastes fresh and well seasoned. The spiceness is a challenge to us. 😅 It was very spicy. After microwaving it for 2 minutes, it is ready to eat. This dish is freshly made daily at Peppercorner and delivered directly by Weee with our grocery! 🥳 Can you take the spicy challenge? 😅

by the time I remembered to take a pic, I only have 1 piece of chicken remaining! it's very tasty and actually spicy!!
