Good quality of abalone

I bought a few of these abalones in the past, but this time, it seems different. First of all, the packaging is different from the ones I purchased previously on Weee. Secondly, it seems a bit smaller and third- it is more chewier. The chewiness can be because I over cooked it on the grill. It still tasted fine though. I added some shrimps to the skewers and basted it with shallot sauce.
