I used this doubanjiang to make ants climbing a tree (spicy glass vermicelli) and enjoyed it. It is like the Sichuan style pixian doubanjiang that I prefer, and is great for all types of meat stir-fries. I would recommend mincing the beans before using it if you don’t like biting into a large bean.
