Name: Golbaengi Muchim (spicy whelk salad with noodles)

This spicy but sweet and sour noodles are perfect to be your Thanksgiving party appetizers 😉😉 or you can put them in a bigger bowl and eat them as your everyday dinner entree 😄😄 To make the noodles, first open a can of whelk. Drain and quickly wash the content. Cut the whelks into bite size (I cut mine into 2-3 pieces). Then thinly cut cucumbers, carrots, and daikon radishes. Now you make the sauce. I used 3 tablespoons of Korean chili paste (gochujang), 1 tablespoon of Korean chili powder (gochugaru), 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 garlic cloves, chopped, and 1 cup of chopped green onions. You can adjust the amount to your liking. Add the whelks and veggies and mix. I also add 2 tablespoons of sesame oil to the mix. Boil thin noodles according to package direction. Drain and wash in cold water. Serve the salad and noodles together. Garnish with white sesame seeds, green onions, and chili peppers if desired. Enjoy 😉
