Liren collaborates with Long Hong, a manufacturer specializing in traditional brewing and pickling. We select plump black beans without extraction or pressing, seal them in clay pots made in Taiwan for fermentation, and mature them for at least 6 months before drying. The sealing method of the clay pots reduces the chance of foreign bacteria invasion, and no large amount of salt is added during fermentation for preservation. It has not undergone artificial exposure, so the salt content is much lower compared to similar products on the market, resulting in a sweet rather than overly salty taste.
