As the senses are awakened by the fragrant aromas of plum, cedar, cola, cocoa, sandalwood spice and leather, a full-bodied palate is filled with the flavors of black cherry, licorice and cedar. Round tannins and notes of vanilla with toasty caramel add to the lingering, elegant mouthfeel.

Serve with roasted, broiled or barbecued game, red meats such as lamb and beef, as well as pork and veal. It also goes well with cheeses with strong or medium flavors, such as blue cheese or sharp cheddar.
