1. Rice is the most important.

Sugars are not extracted from aged rice with low moisture content that has been milled for more than a year. This is a common feature that applies to other low-sugar rice cookers. We recommend using new rice that has been milled within 6 months, and use immediately washed rice.

2. Amount of water

You can use the capacity you usually use. If the amount of sugar is too small, add 100 mL more water.

How to use

1. Put the washed rice into the inner pot of the electric rice cooker you are using and add the existing cooking water or water according to your preference. After placing the diet plate, cook with regular white rice.

3. I did it as usual, but too little sugar came out. Why is that?

• The principle by which the diet plate removes sugar is that when water boils during cooking, sugar is filtered out due to the difference in specific gravity between water and sugar. At this time, water is filtered out along with sugar. The moisture content of rice varies depending on the variety, time of milling, etc. Since we do not know the type of rice you use at home, we recommend that you cook it the same way as before when using a diet plate. If the amount of filtered sugar water is too little, we advise you to add about 100 mL (3.4 fl oz) more water.

4. The sugary water is not evenly distributed across the four trays. Why is that?

• During cooking, the rice bubbles with water. At that time, sugary water is placed on the diet plate, but as the diet plate moves due to air bubbles, it may not be placed evenly. There is no problem with the product, so please use it with confidence.

5. Is the taste of regular rice different from low-sugar rice?
