I think the taste isn’t that potent and it’s mainly good for dark colouring in dishes. It does have a salty component but not as umami as I was expecting

This sauce is amazing! I don’t taste mushrooms directly but it just enhances the flavor period. A softer flavor?! I’m not sure how to describe the flavor but I will absolutely buy again. I don’t think I will even buy regular soy sauce again.

I always buy this kind of soy sauce. I also always buy this Haitian soy sauce in Shanghai because it is not very salty and it suits me well.
